Couple Screenshots of PerfectDisk for WHS

Filed under: Uncategorized — Tom @ 10:51 pm

I’m working on a detailed review of PerfectDisk for WHS, and I should have it done in a few days. In the mean time here are some screenshots to tide you over.

PerfectDisk1

Main window of PerfectDisk

 PerfectDisk2

AutoPilot Scheduler – Contains one default task, which automatically defrags all drives at 6 PM on Sunday.

Enjoy! PerfectDisk looks like a promising product for Windows Home Server, and stay tuned for my review by the end of the week.

  1. Can Perfect Disk do off line or boot time defrags?

  2. Yes, PerfectDisk Home Server has the ability to perform boot time/offline defrags – same ability as PerfectDisk Professional and PerfectDisk Server.

  3. Greg,

Thanks for the info. As you know, I had a few glitches with my first attempt with Perfect Disk for WHS. At first, I thought they were Perfect Disk related, but after a few email exchanges through your support email addy, I found they were due to a known problem with WHS RC and NOT related to Perfect Disk. The WHS problem is reported as fixed in the WHS RTM. The Perfect Disk eval for WHS has been reinstalled now and is running as it should on the WHS RC. Thanks for your support. When the WHS becomes available and installed, Perfect Dish for WHS will be there also.
