Hey Everyone,

HP this week released new information about their Windows Home Server offering, the HP MediaSmart Server. Their offering is very sweet. It has an amazing feature set, and I am looking forward to their release. I have posted a picture of the unit, as well as the Data Sheet with detailed information about their offering.

Here’s a breakdown of the two MediaSmart Models:

It looks like the only differences between the two models are the storage capacity and cost. I’m looking to get a review unit once they ship, and do a detailed review of the unit right here on my blog.

Check it out, and stay tuned!

  1. How many hard drive bays are there? How many SATA connections are there? Are there any IDE/PATA connectors?
