One reason why I love Microsoft…

Filed under: Uncategorized — Tom @ 4:25 pm

I have been having an issue with file corruption on the CTP build of Windows Home Server, and I was contacted just a little while ago by one of the developers at MS who works on WHS to discuss the issue I am having. It’s things like this that make me like Microsoft and know that they are putting a huge step forward in product quality.

  1. I am curious what the results/feedback ultimately was. I have been having similar file corruption issues in the CTP. This has been particularly noticeable with DVDs I have digitized for my kids and placed on the server (as opposed to having them handle the disc). I have been experiencing “Invalid File Handle” errors repeatedly.
